Honestly???
When in Rome, lol.... I would try and get far away from said brain eating zombies, but I would moan, drag a leg and drool outta the corner of my mouth doing that. Zombies do not really come off to me as the brightest crayons in the box, so I don't think they will notice that my moan isn't authentic. Hey, it is a lot better than running and jumping about, that'll just grab their attention. Silly.
Other than that, I would bunker out somewhere with a lot of resources/ a sustainable area (Vermont?) with a rag tag group of people with different strengths and weaknesses. I'd rather hang with a few weaker guys along side those crazy gun wielding types so I don't have to be the weakest link, only to be picked off in a moment of folly.
Oh and also, I think I would have Bruce Campbell handy. He seems like the kinda guy you want at your side during a zombie apocalypse.
