"Found you.." Vesper whispered, dashing towards the gateway or rather taking gliding bounds along the grass covered soil, slipping past trees like a dream until she found herself stopping within the gate itself.. Almost through... Why was she holding back..?! Surely she didn't feel guilty for what she had done..? Was that it.?
No.. No not guilt.. Something.. Something further away than the body.. Getting closer..

What an odd sensation.. Blood pumped through her veins, was the world hazing..? Dizzy.. So dizzy.. She coudln't stare into the dark portal, turning away and gazing out into the mortal realm. That feeling was growing closer, stronger.. She thought she saw some movement, but it was out of the field of vision. But this thing, whatever it was, she could feel it, as though it already held her throat in its grasp.
A blaze of light as the dark portal was torn away, revealing the bronze-skinned demoness, her golden eyes locking onto Mizuki. Again the dizzy feeling, the thumping in her chest and the rush of blood as she gazed at the woman that had destroyed the gate.. Such power.. So intriguing..
Then she hit upon a word she never imagined would escape her lips as a warm wind blew south, brushing past them...
