"Hey Haru where's my soup?" cried a short-tempered man, Haru sighed wanting to give that man a piece of his mind. "I'll be there in a few minutes, so can you please wait?" the boy asked, the man shrugged and went back flirting with the waitresses. Haru hated working but he had to just to buy food and clothes for him and Hikaru. He glanced at his friend, she was having fun at her part-time job. Hikaru noticed him and winked, Haru started to blush and kept on working.
Hikaru was having the time of her life! She sang her heart out, the customers seem to enjoy her singing. She wondered if Haru's having fun, I'll ask him later she thought. She liked this Elven city, everybody's really friendly plus there's no gangs at all. Hikaru wanted to live here forever, but she knew she can't it made her sad. When she was done singing she hopped down the stage and went to talk to the customers. The smiled and complimented her, it made Hikaru's confidence go up. "Haru-chan! Haru-chan!" she shouted, Haru turned around carrying a bunch of dishes. Hikaru ran and helped him carry them.
