Tweak shrugged, and then looked back to her work. "I'm sure you'll get it right in the end," she mumbled under her breath, her fringe of dark hair falling into her eyes as she focused on her painting once again.
"Just remember that those paints don't mix well," Jesse called to a different student, and then slowly meandered on over to Rhianwen as she raised her hand. "Yes, little miss Gerlich?"

Jayce nodded when Miles said his name, and then chuckled. "At least you aren't in any circumstance where you'll drop a grade." He smiled again, and then nodded to the boy in farewell. "My pack calls," he said with a slight wave. "See you around." Jayce didn't bother with trying to remember the kid's name - chances were he wouldn't be talking with him again, sadly. Not soon, anyway. After all . . . being popular pretty much sucked your attention up with everything going on around you.
Since it was lunch time, he merely headed out with the jocks and cheerleaders - his usual posse - to grab some lunch and lounge about at the tables in the middle of the cafeteria.
