Hmm I think I am misunderstanding the stance they were presenting. Were they wanting to have Christianity taught as a core subject, and other religions treated as an optional side class?
Also that Wiccan stance never ceases to amaze me. My old flat mate was from Georgia, and a wiccan. I remember when the topic came up, she was somewhat cautious in admitting her beliefs. Quite careful to express that she does not worship the devil. I had not really come across the Wicca/devil association, but even now it surprises me no less than it did back then.
