Eva cradled Pikachu in her arms as they headed towards Veridian City. She repeatedly looked down at Pikachu. Kari seemed to have more experience with pokemon than Eva did, so she believed her when she said Pikachu was okay. "Don't worry, we're almost there Pikachu," Eva said, walking behind Kari.
They soon made it to the end of route 1, and into Viridian City. The pokemon center could be seen from the town limits, and the two quickly went over to the orange roofed building. This was Eva's first time in a pokemon center, and she felt a little embarassed. She thought, what if the nurse thinks I'm a bad trainer for getting Pikachu hurt like this? They walked through the front doors and to the counter. Not being sure what to say, Eva looked over to Kari.
