The two best break up songs I have ever heard are the following

SR-71- She Was Dead
AMERICAN HI-FI - The Break Up Song (its great even though the chorus sounds similar to Blink 182's song First Date, which was out way before this song.)

They not the nicest songs to the other party involved but hey how many people really like their ex's after a break up?

Also SR-71- Right Now is a great break up song. Now that I think about listen to almost any song by SR-71 and you will work through any dark feelings. They are a great band that is very helpful with getting over the darker emotions, at least always had been for me. Its to bad there not together any more.


Oh and Assassin Taylor Swift is a country artist that has songs that can cross over to pop and do.

ox3tyi- there is nothing wrong with listening to her songs cause even if they are 'stereotypical' they still are the way that most girls have felt at one point or another. There is nothing wrong with Taylor's songs she is a great song writer.
