Death of a Salesman was the worst play they ever made us read. The whole thing was just about a man who is living in the past and was a horrible person. He was rude, taught his sons all the wrong things, cheated on his wife, it's ridiculous. There is no real point to it. And the end is the most depressing and pathetic part of it. (Will not spoil it).

I learned from school that the worst and most pointless book in existence is Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salinger. All this book is about is a rich kid running around doing nothing, complaining that the adult world is phony and criticizing it. Yet, everything he complains about he does! He whines throughout the whole book and is rude to many people. I couldn't even finish the book it was so bad.
Things were only made worse when my teacher made us watch the movie that was sort of based of the book, called "Chasing Holden". DO NOT WATCH IT. The movie is five times worse than the book and really depressing.
My final essay was on how horrible both the book and the movie were (I was the only one who thought either sucked).
