I took up writing and art when I was really young. I can thank my mama and daddy for always letting me make a mess! I decided to major in it because I feel like I can speak through images much easier than I can through words

Currently I'm working on writing a book. Been trying for years and I'm only 19. As far as art goes, I'm working on learning digital art and I've been wanting to do a series of paintings for a while.

I think my favorite modern artist still alive is Camille Rose Garcia. Her work is so adorably demented. Other than that I think Salvador Dali is wonderful and MC Escher is amazing. Author: I'd have to say Libba Bray. Singer, I'm more leaning towards a band called 10 years and one named Fireflight.

I believe if it means something to you, if you get some kind of significance from it or if you find it aesthetically appealing then it's art.

It's totally random for my art and writing. I can get an idea from something I read or from a lecture in one class or another class. I get ideas riding to and from the dorm while looking at the shapes of clouds. Sometimes I get ideas from music and I get ideas while talking to my parents or my fiance. I get ideas while being intimate and I get ideas while I'm alone and being pensive.

I get to make a mess. I get to create. I get to use my hands and my brain. I get to use a bunch of colors and make something look interesting. I get to make someone go "wow that looks so neat, I love it!" And I get to make people think.

Wow...how has it not? I didn't really fall in love with art until I was in like 10th grade when I took my first art class. Art is very underappreciated where i live. But I found out that I can do so much more than my scribblings in sketch books. I found out my love for watercolor and I havent stopped being creative since. It's helped me break down walls and open up. Its an outlet for me. So if I'm feeling wonderful and blissful and in love or if I'm feeling sad, depressed, or angry I can pour all those emotions out onto canvas and make my audience wonder "now what was she thinking?"
