Merlin smiled as he saw his dear freind moving about her two housing making sure everything was ready for the new arrivals that would becoming. She had spent the week preparing each and every room for the student that was going to call them home. He knew she probably went over board with putting everything that the students wanted and liked in the rooms. He waited till she did her last inspection then nodded in approval as she dusted the dust from her ruby and gold Kimono. He watched her take a set at one of the benches along the oak trees opposite the cherry trees that he had planted for her so she wouldn't feel to far from home. After he was sure she was done inspecting he walked up to the bench and took a seat beside her as he smiled. "Are you happy with your work? I think this year we will have a rather unique group I hope you are ready for drama, fights, break ups, and all the normal things that we face within a school year. I can't wait to meant the students in person and not as animals this time." He said as he shook his head remembering all the animals he had shifted into to spy on the students before he accepted them to the school. He laughed as he remembered all the different students he had played. "I think I will be part of the dark arts this year or shadows. And his name was Thomas you broke his heart when he found out you where a teacher...though you were his age I never understood why that bothered him than the fact that you did lie about being a student. Your feelings for him where honest. I think that maybe you shouldn't I don't want any other lads getting their heart broke over you. Now we must hurry the students will be coming soon...and I suggest that you hide because speaking of that incident your new student happens to be related to Thomas. Though if you hide who will greet them? I have to go change into my other form." Merlin laughed as he disappeared in a cloud of smoke. He left Chello there to greet the students and their parents.

Chello went through every room of both the houses making sure every thing was up to her standers. She finally nodded as she took a set on the bench and let out a breath as her heart pounded. She wasn't sure if it was from Merlin who had just sat beside her or knowing that there where new students coming. She smiled as she lessen to her dear friend and laughed as she turned and looked at him. "I was born ready and it isn't my fault you chose to be a cat and got attacked by the birds while spying on the students. Besides what is going to be your name this year and what type of student are you going to pretend to be this time? Last year you where a fire wizard so what are you going to be this year? You methods always confuse me but work in the end. I still can't believe that every year you become a "new student" and blend in with the others as a normal student. But you are right that is the only way to get to know them and help them. You have to be their friend before they'll trust and lessen to you. Maybe I should do it again some time....though the lad last time...didn't take it very well when he found out I wasn't a student what was his name?" She nodded as she remembered the guys name....not that she had forgotten she just didn't want to say it...it still kind of hurt even after this many years had passed. She glared at Merlin as he informed her of his plans of house. He was going to be a pain in her side and she knew it. Her eyes widen as she turned plaer than normal as she heard him say she was going to have a student related to Thomas. She turned to yell at him but he was already gone.
