Ben shook out his hair which had gotten damp in the rain as he hurried through his apartment building's doors. "Raining already?" A man in the lobby asked, looking up from his paper. Ben nodded his head once before going to the elevator, cursing himself for not getting a coat that morning.
Having reached his apartment, Ben flopped back onto the couch and stared at the ceiling. He considered turning on the tv but, upon noticing the remote across the room, decided to watch the ceiling instead. He had a history exam in an hour and his brain was fried from his cram session earlier.
