Welcoming Riley

Riley leaned against the rickity old shack she had out at Snipps Coves as, just watching the Biohazard settlement from a distance. "I wonder how much longer they can last without their blessed AC in this heat," she chuckled to herself through her hooded gas mask. It was something she had created while on Jupiter. During her time in the army there had been many versions of it but none seemed to work in the vast toxic fumes of Jupiter. She finally got it though; it was a double vented gas mask with a burlap hood. That material was then covered with a very fine layer of a charcol cloth and finally over lay with the thinnest dragonskin she could make. She was proud of it and made sure that her people were well equipped with the devices.

Her hand reached down to her hips where her dual gunblades for the day rested. They were still in testing mode, though she had used them to cut the main chords to the Biohazard AC. The place still seemed to be opperational, but honestly she didn't think they could last much longer, especially with the summer months coming up very soon.

With a sigh Riley opened the door to the small shack and after pressing the doorbell which sounded through the single room building, she then closed the door and pressed the lock. While this did lock the door it set something else up. Walking to the complete other side of the room she then flipped the light switch and while lights came on, they weren't what you would expect. Mechanical sounds started whirling, compressed air being released as numbers touch pads released themselves from the walls.

Each one of the touch pads was operational in their own way but Riley knew exactly which ones she needed. Side stepping to the one beside her she punched in an eight digit code, she then walked to another pad on another wall where she put in her finger print. There were many steps to this, but the green haired girl was no fool when it came to the security of her devices.

Unlike most places on earth that had an eye scan, Riley put in a tattoo scan. There were at least seven different pads for this opperation. Walking to a particular one, the girl unzipped her jacket and lifted her black shirt just enough for the computer to see it. More air was released as the worn wood floor boards on the floor began to react. All the boards were worn, but it was the ones in the middle that began lowering and tucking away.

Once moved, the hole revealed a single circular platform. Walking over, Riley stood in the middle and after a few ticks the flatform began to lower. The girl was smart when it came to her location for this place. From all the places she had looked, Snipps Cove had the thickest radiation clouds below the 'surface'. This made what the girl had below there practically impossible to see.

As soon as the girl was low enough, the entired shack reset itself, no clues as to where she was going. Moments later though the platform came to rest in a large white, almost lab looking room. This was where Riley did all her work, where her new weapons and defense technology came to life. Once stepping off she looked to her right where in a glass sat her military issue uniform and gunblade. They were there as a reminder and she hadn't used them since.

Walking towards the center of the room to a large table with different gunblade casings and other devices, the girl sat down. Beside her was a computer council that ran diagnostic checks as well as served as survaliance for her shack. She knew the others for biohazard would be there at some point, possibly at least, so it was only a matter of time before she had to let them in.

In the meantime the girl got to work on a new add-on to her currently equipped gunblades. No one had thought anyone could get anything working on the planet but Riley had managed to find away to get a facility running off of the radioactive gases, the complex itself built from the strongest materials from the planet's moons. It was at times like these she was glad that she agreed to work with Vittani.
