After going through the book store and buying a few books he thought he might like Sam walked back to the kitchen. There the rest of the afternoon went well. As it started getting closer to the time for Morpheus to show up Sam got antsy. His staff noticed this and started making comments about how he had a hot date coming. He turned on them and told them that they were not to talk so about thing they knew nothing about. Then he went back to making up Morpheus’ dinner. He had made something special and he hoped that Morpheus would love it. it was an old dish that his mother used to make for him but he did not know if Morpheus would like. As the minutes ticked down he would look ups each time the door opened to let in a waiter or the Floor manager.
Sam was beginning to worry that Morpheus had forgotten about dinner or that he had fallen asleep and was wandering other people’s dreams. He kind of felt jealous at the thought that he might be with other peoples dreams.
