Jack let the man drag him but had to fight his body for a second. He had taught his body to attack people who grabbed him so it was hard not ot do what was a habit to him. He then grabbed a oar and went to work right away. He hardly spoke and that was how he was going to keep it. he would stay quiet and if anyone asked him a question he would make up a answer. He would twist there minds so they knew nothing of who he really was.
ONce they where deep enough into the bay he could feel when the masts where hoisted and the wind start to take them. It was a nice feel and a familiar one too. He continued his work on the oar and waited to be called for another dutie. He hoped that it was something to deal with being on the deck or the crows nest. He liked those points in the boat to work since you could feel the wind and smell the sea.
His mother watched the boat go and slowly picked up the coins. She then walked over to the ocean and dropped ten of the coins into the water, "keep him safe." she said to the ocean and then headed back to the town healer. She needed a friend now more then ever.
