"Ice cream?" He looked at the melting twist that was suddenly placed in his hands. "Okay, I will admit, that ice cream isn't my favorite, but you did a superb job picking out my... you read my mind, didn't you." He shot her a cruel glare before he woofed down the ice cream. Once finished, he rested his chin back in his palm.
"I'm sorry about those pigs. They don't really see woman that much. Heh, you can figure why. All of them are nerds. When they get home they turn on their WoW and it consumes them. You're one of the few females in the office that aren't all... geeky looking." Slick. You just complimented her. Why don't you just tell her she's hot as tell and drives your crazy? Wait... oh my god, I'm officially the biggest moron. Ummm. Potatoes. I love potatoes. Still can't believe I admitted she's hot when she can totally read my mind. Hello? Alyssa? Are you reading this? Huston. Huston, we have a problem. How do I know she's reading my mind?
Cocking his brow, he leaned in closer to her. "What are you thinking about?" Folding his arms neatly on the table, he signaled the waitress to bring out his order. "I discovered that you enjoy this meal. I hope you're somewhat hungry." As the platters came down, Levin smiled. "I may be a complete ass, but I do pay attention every now and then." His golden green eyes shot up to the sky. "Soooo, I don't recall reading about a husband. I presume a lovely maiden such as yourself has a mate, am I right?" At this point Levin was just trying to get a conversation going. Anything was better than sitting in complete silence. Not only did it feel weird, but it looked bad too.
