((I half expected Jenkins to grab Liesel as his flight buddy. LOL!))
Liesel hadn't realized that their seats were assigned but was immensely grateful that they weren't stuck next to the crazy body builder. She thought she might die if that was the case. As they reached their assigned seats, Liesel glanced around quickly at the heads sticking up from the seats nearby and realized that Maxwell was right--there really weren't too many people sitting near them. The younger twin hoped it would remain that way as there had still been a few more people to board behind them.
In answer to her older twin's question, Liesel slid into the window seat,. She would much rather be squeezed between Maxwell and the wall than Maxwell and some random stranger. Sitting on the inside also prevented her from seeing down the length of the aisle and catching glimpses of the other passengers. Her only concern would be the need for a bathroom break as the small girl's bladder wouldn't likely hold out the entire trip. Liesel decided to face that barrier when it came; there was no use worrying about it at the moment. Besides, there were other more important things to think about, like willing the plane not to crash upon takeoff.
