[CONTEST]

I want a banner for this Thread - so that hopefully more people will join.

The deadline is Halloween and I do NOT want the banner Halloween Themed, I want it Themed kind of like the Role-Play goes (relax, there's only one page to read).

Depending on how much I like the banner, I will pay you anywhere from 200 to 500 Gold.

Sorry it's such a little amount, but I have a budget to keep as I'm also saving up for avatar art from a specific person I've already picked - and I can't spend what someone gave me for their part of the avvy art I want to order.

If you're interested, please PM me two or more samples of your work, plus the name of one reference, or please PM me a link to your Thread where your work is ordered.

NOTE: This role-play is intended so that, with my character the way it is,
people can still role-play in any general direction without needing me around. :)

NOTE: You can role-play without needing your character to be approved. :)

NOTE: Your character is just as your avatar looks, minus the background.

NOTE: This post's descriptions of your surroundings is as THIS looks,
(background included, because it's my thread and I said so. :P)

THE FOUR RULES:

1) I am the only master of my character. If you want my character to do something, PM me and I will think about it.

2) If you want another character to seriously affect your character (say, in battle or something else),
or if you are about to seriously affect another character (say, in battle or something else),
then do something and "attempt to" get them to do what you want them to do.
Or just PM them a request, asking for what you want them to do, and see if they accept.
Or role-play ask them.

3) You may also avoid the attempt,
unless it was an accepted request for something the other character do,
but you cannot ALWAYS dodge the deed.

4) Romance is allowed, but nothing more than PG-13.

PROLOGUE:

You have just awoken in a cloudy place beneath the open sky of stars.
Standing before you is a golden-haired girl dressed in red and black,
who is carrying a golden lantern lit by a pure white candle;
a few inches from her foot is a white skull that is grinning maliciously
betwixt two golden roses and a few white bones.
You suddenly realize not only that you cannot determine this girl's age,
but that she is speaking to you about having successfully completed the third round
and so you are still allowed upon the Path to Heaven,
but you don't know what she's talking about.
Just before she disappears she informs you that you still have ten trials to pass
before you will reach the Gates of Heaven -
and if you fail but one you will be whisked away to the Path of Hell...

Even though the girl is gone,
You feel as if the girl is still watching you,
And the skull and roses remain.
You are facing what you assume to be the way towards this Gate of Heaven,
but you can also walk in the direction you figure must be the way back home.
Or you can skip the cloudy road and walk on the grass - er, clouds...
Which way will you pick?
