Bio: Sir Rowan was knighted by the king of his kingdom when he was only sixteen, he showed promise with a sword at an early age and was always very intelligent. When he was in his early twenties, is when the darkness came about, and after the shadows devoured the auras of his mother and younger brother, he vowed to destroy it.
after the darkness was banished: he spent several years traveling various countries and defeating remnants of the darkness, he settled down in France with a young woman named Nicolette and had six children.

Rowan recruited him while his wife was pregnant with their first child, and was driven to help defeat the darkness in order to bring about a better world for his child to be brought up in

The descendants of this person will more than likely be: kind-hearted, joyous, and generous
This person passed on: vial on a chain
Bio: Isolde learned medicine by watching her mother, a village midwife, practice on the people of her home village. She picked up on a few things, but then began to experiment on her own, finding out new things about medicine and somehow making a positive outcome no matter what she did. Rowan decided that she would make an excellent addition to the Divine when she saw her healing powers at work
after the darkness was banished: She was invited by Father gaunt to practice medicine in his abbey's sick bay. there, she met a wounded soldier that one of the missionaries found in the grasslands surrounding the solitary abbey, married, and became a midwife, like her mother, after moving back to her home village

Description: Lean, and 'bone' thin with deeply wrinkled skin from years of aging (and some say wisdom) a shock of gray hair and brown eyes that seem almost milky in nature
Special abilities: to call upon the light for protection and guidance, summon the gate
Unique Traits: is covered in little 'sun spots' from his early years of working in the fields with his father and older brothers (before he decided to become a holy man)
The descendants of this person will more than likely be: wise for their years, have an affinity with religion, kind hearted but quick to anger
This person passed on: It was set into a large and sturdy steel ring with an intricate design on it. The shard itself is a sapphire color with lighter blue pinpricks running through the stone.
Bio: Father Gaunt was already a holy man for many generations before the darkness took hold of the earth. the coming of the darkness came to him in a prophetic dream that he shared with others in his abbey. Along with the prophecy of the coming darkness, came the information on how to stop it. Somehow, he was instilled with the knowledge of the Essence Gate and how to summon it, and also how to seal it once the darkness had been pushed into its boundaries.
after the darkness was banished: He returned to his abbey, with Isolde recruited as a new nurse. he died not long after the darkness had been banished, and gave his shard to a young pregnant woman that had sought refuge in his abbey, he told her to "Keep the light alive" and pressed the disguised shard into her palm just before he passed on

Unique Traits: has a special weakness for sweet foods, and basically falls in love with any woman he meets that can bake (they remind him of his mother)
The descendants of this person will more than likely be: Childlike, loud, carefree, energetic
This person passed on: The butterfly pendant
Bio: Oliver always dreamed of being a knight, and when he finally was given the chance to become a squire, he jumped at the opportunity, cleaning floors, picking vegetables in the castle gardens and helping with ordinary day-to-day tasks until he was finally assigned as a squire to Sir Rowan. Soon after he became a squire, the darkness took hold of the earth and he was forced to leave behind the task of learning swordsmanship and the like to aid his Knight in bringing together the divine, and in the battle against the darkness
after the darkness was banished: He continued to serve as Rowan's squire for several more years, and was then knighted by the king and given special honors for his part in banishing the darkness and dispersing the shadows
