The NPCs are characters important to the story that I will use to advance the plot. Click below for descriptions of these characters.

The NPCsX

Mother Nature: The embodiment of nature itself, she is the caretaker of the Earth and the mother of all four of the seasons. She is unfathomably old and her powers are more than all four of the seasons combined.

Name: Aegis
Apparent Human Age: 18
Gender:
Birthday: Winter 5th
Appearance: Seasonal Outcast / Human Charmer
Seasonal Biography: Aegis spent his childhood years growing up in the Wastes of the Seasonal Realm, naively thinking that there was nothing more to life. One day however, he stumbled upon the borders of Spring’s domain and was instantly awed by the beauty he saw there and of course of its crowning jewel, the princess. Taken over by her beauty, Aegis vowed to never again return to the wastes and instead take Springs domain, and her hand in marriage, for his own. This seemed like an impossible task however, having now real powers of his own, when he discovered that the seasons had been banished to Earth. Ceasing the opportunity when the seasons would be furthest from their mother’s grasp, he too went to Earth.
Human Biography: Upon setting foot on Earth, Aegis realized that things were not going to be as easy as he might have thought back in the Seasonal Realm. For one thing, he didn’t know much about the human world. One thing he did understand however was booze. After his first frustrating day on Earth, Aegis found himself a home at the local bar where a human man offered him a drink. One drink led to another and in a drunken stupor, Aegis confessed his evil goals to the human and was surprised to find the man more than willing to help him achieve them. When he’s not carousing about or spying on the seasons, Aegis works at the local art gallery where he can admire the beautiful artwork to his heart’s content.
Personality: Aegis is a man struck by love and has found an eccentric part of his personality that never existed in the Wastes of the Seasonal Realm here on Earth. His main goal is of course courting Spring however he’s not so absorbed in this that he forgets to enjoy all the new things of the human world that never existed back home. His dashing looks and charming smile make it easy for him to weasel himself in and out of any situation.
Likes: Talking to himself, daydreaming about Spring, Flowers, beautiful things.
Dislikes: The color grey, people who get in his way, Mother nature.
Powers: Aegis has no extraordinary powers but makes up for this with an almost supernatural charm.
Other: Aegis is the villain of the roleplay, eccentric and lighthearted as he may be.

The Seasons are the main characters in the roleplay. Some of the information in their profiles has been pre-assigned by me for the purpose of the story. Their personality should be inspired by their respective season. For example, I would imagine Autumn as a rather quiet individual compared to Spring who I would view as teeming with life. I have provided pictures for their appearances however feel free to use a different one should you have something else in mind. When filling out a profile for the seasons you should also keep in mind how they feel about being sent to Earth and their attitude towards humans. Click below to view their profiles.

Username: Abomination.
Name: Summer
Apparent Human Age: 21
Gender:
Birthday: Summer 1st
Appearance: Summer Human / Summer Prince
Seasonal Biography: Summer ruled his nation pretty fairly - that is, when he was ruling it. He was usually off doing who-knows-what who-knows-where, and he never once felt guilty about it due to the fact that his domain was just as peaceful as his siblings'.
Human Biography: As soon as Summer set foot in the Earth, he made sure that he had a job. He originally had grudgingly begun to apply for the library or the grocery store, but once word got to him that the Surf Shack was hiring, he immediately went out and applied, throwing everything else aside. Not only is he working inside of the Shack, but gives lessons on surfing (and swimming) in his spare time.
Personality: Summer is the good-tempered, carefree type of guy that you'd always want to be around. He's usually smiling or joking, but he has his serious moments. He's more like a big brother figure than anything else.
Likes: Freedom, jogging, swimming, things that involve motion
Dislikes:Being held back, being a couch potato,
Powers: Summer gains his powers from the sun and has the ability to augment heat. He can create and control small amounts of fire from the warmth of the sun.
Other: In the Seasonal World, a handful of butterflies always seem to follow Summer about.

Name: Winter
Apparent Human Age: 19
Gender:
Birthday: Winter 1st
Appearance: Winter Princess / Winter Human
Seasonal Biography: Winter was Mother Nature’s second creation. Summer acted as her loving older brother, always there in her time of need. Their childhood was filled with plenty of adventures about the Seasonal Realm and the two siblings were happy opposites. A few years later however, Autumn arrived and things began to change. As the middle child, Winter felt out of place. Summer was the first and seemingly favorite season and Autumn received the most attention being the youngest while Winter found herself merely tolerated. Things became even more strained with Spring’s arrival just one year later. Winter began to feel unwanted and fell into seclusion until mother presented each of them with their own partition of the Seasonal Realm. Winter was happy to find herself with loyal servants to do her bidding and land that was always frosted with a fresh layer of snow. Her word was law and she greatly enjoyed the power given to her, able to control everything that fell within the confines of her domain.
Human Biography: Winter was shocked when mother sentenced them to servitude upon the Earth but at the same time the feeling was all too familiar. She had felt the same thing at the creations of both Autumn and Spring and it seemed obvious to her now that Mother Nature wanted to get rid of her. It would have been bad enough being sent away on her own but it seemed mother was bent on making her suffer and sent the other three along as well. Upon setting foot inside their new residence, Winter tried to take control of things as she once had in her own realm but Summer, being the oldest, the favorite, and the current season, ended up head of household instead. Winter sulked in her room for days until Summer convinced her to try to find work. Winter did her best but was rejected time and time again. It seemed she lacked any skills at all and so she gave up and spent the remaining portion of summer holed up in her room with infrequent trips to the library when she grew bored of staring at the same four walls and ceiling.
Personality: Winter tries to hide years of sadness and feelings of rejection beneath an icy mask. Most of the time Winter’s emotions range alternatively from melancholy to harsh. She is often confused by human customs that she finds to be strange but isn’t one to ask others for help. Instead she looks for the answers herself by consulting library books on various subjects. She may seem like a loner but really she’s just lonely. Her siblings hope that she will come out of her shell more when the weather begins to change.
Likes: Cold and windy days, the sparkle of undisturbed snow, sushi, ice cream, and poinsettias.
Dislikes: Intense head and bright sunlight, spicy foods, soda, Mother Nature, and her siblings.
Powers: Winter gains her abilities from the icy arctic. She has the ability to control cold, swirling winds to create and manipulate snow and ice.
Other: In the Seasonal World, Winter always has a chilly breeze tugging at her hair.

Username: Sezumie
Name: Autumn
Apparent Human Age: 17
Gender:
Birthday: Autumn 1st
Appearance: Autumn Prince / Autumn Human
Seasonal Biography: Autumn's domain is very much half dead, and most of the animals are gone underground. He really should be keeping tabs on Spring, but chooses not to, since, he usually gets mad at Spring easily, which makes up with someone or something getting hurt. He is really laid back, and doesn't really understand why he has to do anything. Autumn wasn't really anything, just a time for people to switch from summer to spring, nothing too important in his eyes. Autumn, or as he refers to himself, Fall, hates Summer to some extent, since Summer doesn't bother to check up on his siblings.
Human Biography: When he was brought to Earth, he went on and took a part time job at the Cafe, the rest of the time he had he would volunteer at the library, keeping most of the books in check. At home, he would usually lock himself in his room unless he wanted to come out or if he was hungry. Autumn also practices in the art of Japanese sword fighting. He somehow tends to the lovely cherry blossoms in the park.
Personality: He's, generally, a quiet, laid back person who really isn't as social as you may think. He likes to do work, unlike some of his siblings. He's reserved, but doesn't think through his decisions.
Likes: Silence, books, Japanese sword fighting, and Cherry blossoms.
Dislikes: Loud, distracting noises, Summer, and guns.
Powers: Autumn has the ability to undo nature, causing plant life to wither and die. He can drain moisture from his surroundings and inflict pain should he choose to do so.
Other: In the Seasonal World, a trail of leaves are left in Autumn's wake.

Username: Dreizehn
Name: Spring
Apparent Human Age: 16
Gender:
Birthday: Spring 1st
Appearance: Spring Princess / Spring Human
Seasonal Biography: Spring is the youngest of the Seasons as well as the least experienced. She ruled her kingdom with a light heart, not really delving into more pressing matters that needed to be addressed when they arose. Her loving and easy going demeanor caused great favor from her subjects as she avoided any form of confrontation. Nothing could ever be wrong while in her kingdom in her theory, for everything was born anew and life was always just beginning no matter where one looked. Death was a concept that was foreign to her and one that she could not fully grasp, especially having as sunny a disposition as she.
She was never one to sit still for every long, often having the urge to wander throughout her kingdom. Her favored places to visit were a decent sized pond teeming with fresh flora and fauna, or dancing with the wind strewn blossoms, as well as climbing as high as she could in the tallest and oldest tress she could find.
Human Biography: Spring's new life was just a new beginning for her. Having brushed away the real reason as to the banishment from her realm, she was able to adapt rather quickly to the new environment. Her tendency to wander and observe new places causes her to lose track of time or where she had gone to, unable to remember clearly in which direction she had come from.
Personality: Spring is outgoing and found to be an incredible source of optimism. She loves to meet new people and is easily able to befriend just about anyone or thing. She takes pity on anything smaller or younger than herself and despises any forms of rude or aggressive behavior. Usually she is an easy going individual, unless there is something she truly desires, whereas she tends to make a scene to get her way. She loves her siblings and would do anything for them even if they do not acknowledge or reciprocate the same feelings in return. She tends to try and learn as much as possible about everything, but gets frustrated for not being able to remember it all correctly after hearing it just once.
Likes: Animals and plant life of any species or variety, rain, swimming, reading books, dried mangoes, peaches, anime, manga, painting, any types of sweets or baked goods.
Dislikes: Anything related to the theme of 'Death', darkness, extreme cold, grey skies, being called 'kiddo', broccoli, having to sit still, action or horror films.
Powers: Spring has the ability to call upon nature, willing plant life to grow healthy and strong as well as create moisture from her surroundings. Spring can also aid the natural healing process, allowing injuries to heal more quickly, and converse with/understand wildlife.
Other: In the Seasonal World, flowers bloom where Spring's footsteps tread.

The Townspeople, while not the main characters, are an invaluable part of the story. They represent the human population of the town to which the seasons have been banished and will interact with both the seasons an each other. You can be as creative as you want here! Imagine such roles as a suspicious neighbor, crazy cat lady, pair of mischievous siblings, shop owner, teacher, classmate, co-worker, the possibilities are endless! Creating multiple characters is acceptable and encouraged so long as you can keep up with them. Click below to view skeleton and profiles.

Username: Remaro
Name: Wren Lyel
Age: 17
Gender:
Birthday: Autumn 10th
Role: Classmate and rookie photographer
Appearance: Wren
Biography: Wren was born into a middle class family consisting of a mother and father and one older brother. Unlike most siblings, he and his brother grew up fairly close to each other, he often depended on the other to teach him things, as his parents were normally out working. They lived in the same house for roughly fourteen years before his father fell very ill. He survived for another year before finally dying. Due to the lack of income, his family had to move to a smaller flat near the centre of the town where his mother warned both himself and his brother about being very careful as the streets would be far more dangerous. Wren had ignored the warning. There had been some sort of accident, a fight had occurred and Wren had gotten caught in the middle of it. Next thing he knew he was in hospital, unable to remember the past few weeks and unable to see out of his right eye. Every time Wren tries to recall what happened that time, he gets severe headaches and will be more tired, the doctor who looked after him said it was most likely his minds way of blocking the experience.
Personality: Wren is a fairly laid back individual. While he does get by in class, he puts much more focus on his photography, as it’s his goal in life to be a professional photographer. He gets along with most people and isn’t one to try and pick a fight. Wren is intelligent and likes to weigh his options before picking the best course of action to take. To be honest, he glides through life and often has a smile on his face. He won’t speak of his history that much, while it was mostly normal, there is the odd bad experience that is still painful to remember, he prefers to focus on the here and now. Wren is likely to put others' issues before his own, he’s a good actor in the sense he can hide when something is troubling him.
Likes: Vibrant colours, photography, autumn, anything peaceful, cats, cinnamon, fireworks
Dislikes: Parties, crowds, too hot or too cold temperatures, horror films, fish, heights
Other: He lost his eye in an accident, but he doesn’t like to talk about it much.

Username: Dreizehn
Name: Lucia Adler (prefers to be called 'Lu')
Age: 17
Gender:
Birthday: Autumn 7th
Role: Student, works as the main barista for the local Cafe
Appearance: Lucia
Biography: Lucia moved to the town from Germany with her parents when she was seven years old. She had trouble making friends as many of the children felt that she was strange, possibly due to the fact that she was dubbed 'the new foreign girl'. Her parents are both well known artists that managed to open up the local art gallery that is close to the cafe Lucia now works at. Her father was later diagnosed with lung cancer when she was twelve and lived three years afterward before he passed away. Lucia was hurt deeply by this as her parents were the two things that meant the most to her in life. Life is slowly returning back to normal for the mother daughter pair as they go about their daily routines. Though Lucia still has trouble finding friends, she still confides much in her mother.
Personality: Quiet and reserved most of the time, she has a sweet and loving side to her that not many get to see. She is an excellent student and probably one of the few that are top of her class. Lucia loves comic books as well as video games and has a certain knack for drawing.
Likes: Horror and Foreign films, Autumn, the holiday named 'Halloween', sweets, coffee, spicy foods, animals, photography and anything dealing with art.
Dislikes: Rude and obnoxious people/customers, animal cruelty, the cold, American History is her least favorite subject in school.
Other: She has three pet cats, and has a tattoo on her lower back that she got while visiting her grandmother in Germany.

Username: Graxdon
Name: Nathaniel Payne
Age: 17
Gender:
Birthday: Winter 8th
Role: Neighbor and Classmate
Appearance: Nathaniel
Biography: Nathaniel has lived in Beachview for all of his life, living a fairly happy one at that, until his father died in a car crash when he was eight. When his father died, his mother was so stricken with grief that it tore her mind apart, reducing her to a raving lunatic, kept at an out of state mental hospital. Nathaniel lives with his aunt Alexandra and tries to live happily despite the negative reports from the doctors at the asylum but can be quite cold to people he finds annoying and has developed a short, cold temper. When he snaps he doesn't become violent, he just verbally beats whoever it is into a sobbing wreck.
Personality: Nathaniel is kind, but with a cold, short temper. Though he is kind, Nathaniel isn't one to be very open with people and prefers people more like him, calm, cool, and collected. When dealing with dumb people he tends to be very sarcastic, making the person feel like a moron with his facial expressions and how he talks to them.
Likes: Reading, winter time, pie, and polishing his karate belt case, especially the black belt's spot.
Dislikes: Stupid people, annoying people, and days when its too hot.
Other: He really, really, really likes pie.

Name(s): Aiko & Iku Love
Age(s): 16
Gender(s): Female
Birthday: Autumn 15th
Role: Classmates
Appearance(s): Aiko & Iku Both girls look exactly alike, except for that Aiko has a birthmark under her right eye, and Iku has one under her left. They have long deep brown hair which looks black, slightly slanted brown eyes and high cheekbones that are covered by creamy coloured skin that feels as soft as it looks.
Biography: Aiko and Iku are half-Japanese, half-Caucasian twins who were raised by their father, Juushiro Takano (who changed his last name to his wife's last name, Love), and mother, Mania Love.
The twins have found that trust is truly special, and since they haven't found anyone to share that trust with (except for themselves), they stick around each other all the time (and I do mean all the time).
Personalities: The girls are almost complete opposites, though they both share the quietness factor, along with the niceness and caring traits. Aiko is more friendly and slightly more talkative, and is often drawing something in a notebook she keeps around. Iku is usually the one writing poetry, but almost never draws. She prefers to keep to herself and only talks to people if Aiko seems to really like them. Iku has a shorter temper than Aiko, who is naturally patient. Mind you, if Iku ever gets her hands around chocolate, she'll go crazy.

Username: Keondre Lorano
Name: Musica Shinnosuke Aragaki
Age: Twenty-two
Gender:
Birthday: Winter 6th
Role: Apprentice patissier
Appearance: Musica towers at a whooping 6'7", and weighs 191lbs.
Biography: The eldest of the Aragaki siblings, Musica was the only one born in Japan. He was only three when his father's job transferred him over to another branch and the family moved to Canada. His father's career started getting hectic not long after his brother Kevin's birth, and so he quickly found himself acting as the helping hand to his mother. After the birth of his younger siblings Riley and Sunny and the subsequent death of their mother, Musica's life only got busier. Though their father hired a nanny to care for the children, the boy was very possessive of his siblings, in particular his sister.
Because of his need to be of help to his mother, Musica was a quiet and surprisingly mature child. He never really spoke to anyone unless he was spoken to, and kept mostly to himself, studying hard in the time he had. Though his introverted nature worried many of his teachers, it was also very clear that he was a gifted and incredibly hard-working boy. He picked up on a large number of concepts faster than most of his peers, and he was shown to have an amazing memory. His only drawback in school was his inability to make friends, often singled out for his reticence and his high grades. Indeed, he was often bullied in the playground, but whenever he was questioned about it, his only explanation would be that he had accidentally injured himself.
This seemed to change when Kevin caught some of the bullies picking on his brother and reported it to their nanny. Eventually moved into a new school, Musica was given the chance to start over. And start over he did. The boy dared to step out from the shell he'd created for himself in his old school, and soon had created friendships with a small group of classmates. Though Musica continued to outshine the others, these friends did not seem to like him less for it. For three years of his life, Musica felt a joy and relief to be accepted for whom he was by others. Alas, not all that glitters is gold. Near the time of the final exams, he was returning from the library to his classroom where he was studying with his friends. Outside the door, he overheard their conversation; in the end, he was merely being used as a mark booster for these so-called "friends" of his. As expected, he immediately retreated back to his solitude, and entered high school friendless once more.
His high school years were almost a repeat of his elementary ones. Alone, he kept to himself, still topping most everyone else in academics, arts, and athletics. The only difference was that he was no longer the object of bullying. This fate fell on a singular girl who was, in many ways, similar to Musica himself: a quiet, shy individual whose performance in whichever fields she partook in rivaled that of Musica's. At first, he ignored them, happy to stay in his little world. However, the bullying got progressively worse, and finally, unable to stand the unjust treatment of a girl, he intervened. In his anger towards the others' cruelty, he lost control and nearly strangled a student while hospitalizing several others.
The results were devastating. Though he was officially penalized with suspension, his peers turned their harsh treatment onto him, portraying him as a delinquent and making his life miserable. Musica held onto the belief that he had done right to defend the girl, until he realized that she, without any ounce of remorse, turned her back on him along with the others. It was the final straw; hurt by the multiple betrayals, Musica closed himself off entirely, trusting only his siblings as they had been the only ones who believed what he did was right and supported him in everything.
Shortly after, their father announced that they were moving to America. It was a relief for all of the siblings, especially Musica; the perfect excuse to leave behind the unpleasant memories. They moved to Connecticut, leaving behind the soaring mountains of Alberta in exchange for the sandy shores of Beachview. There, Musica finished his high school carrier with top-notch scores and discovered his love for cuisine in the local cafe.
Personality: If Musica could be described in one word, that word would be "solitary". The image of the "tall, dark stranger", he is a man of little words and even less emotion. One wouldn't be in the wrong to call him stoic or reticent: indeed, his mannerisms are downright laconic. Aloof and enigmatic, Musica will literally hold people at arm's length until he warms up to them and deems them worthy of trust; don't hold your breath, though, since that will take a very, very long time.
Many who have interacted with him would remark on his straightforwardness. There is no sugar-coating with this man; he will say things as it is, even if the truth hurts like hell. Though he is generally polite, his lack of emotion and his bluntness of speech often lead to others viewing him as harsh, apathetic, and cold-hearted. Many would be surprised to know that Musica isn't blunt out of cruelty, but rather out of defense. Because of his seriousness towards his role as "eldest in the family" and of past experiences, he keeps a tough shell around himself as a means of emotional protection.
None can deny, however, that he is incredibly skilled. He is a man of his word, seeing any and all assignments he is given to the end and with complete thoroughness. His diligence in his line of work, his adeptness in the skills required, and the devotion he pours into serving his clients and making his creations is unmatched.
Despite all appearances, Musica isn't truly without heart. Behind the impassive face is a man with the noble, chivalrous soul of a knight, a gentle soul that is made startlingly clear in his actions. When with his family, and especially his youngest siblings, he becomes like a pile of putty, a big soft-hearted lug who would do anything to put a smile on their faces. A steadfast individual, Musica is incredibly protective of and unerringly loyal to his siblings and those he calls friend, willing to risk life and limb to see to their safety.
Likes: Making pastries, seeing his siblings smile, his family, reading, people who keep their promises, tea, calligraphy, cooking, metal working, his guitar
Dislikes: Broken promises, loud noises, crime, misconduct, bullies and their ilk, fast food
Other: Musica is an excellent cook and hopes to open up a restaurant of his own one day. He is also very health-conscious and has no qualms telling other off for not eating "proper food".

Username: Keondre Lorano
Name: Riley Takeshi & Sunny Hibari Aragaki
Age: Seventeen
Gender: ♂ & ♀ respectively
Birthday: Spring 4th
Role: Classmate, animal shelter volunteer; Riley - Part-time cashier; Sunny - Art gallery part-timer, aspiring artist
Appearance: Riley & Sunny both stand at 4'10", though Riley is marginally taller. Riley weighs 102lbs, while Sunny weighs 94lbs.
Biography: The Aragaki siblings' mother died giving birth to the twins, and as a consequence they grew up under the care of both their nanny and their eldest brother Musica. Sunny in particular was doted upon due to her status as both the youngest and the only girl of the four. With the lack of a mother and the near-constant absence of a father, Riley and Sunny grew up on the love of their brothers and nanny instead. Not that they really cared, as to them their brothers and nanny were more than enough.
Compared to their brother Musica, their lives were actually fairly normal. Both were very active children, and from an early age were diagnosed with ADHD. In elementary they were soon known as the Trouble Twins, as the two began to pick up pranking and exploring out of bounds. Naturally this worried their caretakers, but when the two would always come back safe and promised not to go anywhere without permission and stop the pranking (mostly) they turned a blind eye to most of their mischief.
When the news of the bullying towards their brother was revealed, Riley and Sunny's pranking ways came back with a storm. The pair's elaborate and almost fool-proof traps and tricks that dealt revenge (as the twins put it, divine punishment) upon those who had wronged their brother soon had everyone thinking twice before opening their lockers or opening doors. Their schemes died down only when their brother gained friends in his new school; though, that didn't last long, for when they discovered that his "friends" weren't really friends at all, the twins began to devise ways to expose the frauds. In the end, Musica found out for himself without their help, and the day he came back home with a desolate look on his face, his two youngest siblings made sure they dealt hell to the leeches. That day, they earned themselves a new title: "Demon Twins".
The move away from Canada was a bittersweet one. Despite the fact that they were both relieved that Musica didn't have to suffer through the bullying anymore and could start anew, the twins had fallen in love with the wild outdoors of Alberta. Nonetheless they packed their bags and off they went to America. Since then, they have come to love the beautiful shores of Beachview, though they will often speak of the landscapes of Alberta that will always be their home.
Personality: Riley and Sunny are often remarked to be like two faces of a single person; both are alike in personalities and are oft the masterminds behind mischief. Despite being in their later teen years, the two hardly look or act their age. With seemingly endless amounts of cheerful energy, the twins face each and every day with boundless optimism and zest, always ready to make a new friend or light up the world with their thousand-watt smiles and carefree laughter. Sweet, friendly individuals, many who know them would speculate that Riley and Sunny had found the secret to eternal youth, or had never really grown up; in them are the pure and unassuming souls of children. They live by a philosophy of "brighten up someone else's day, even if I can't brighten up my own". Closer friends would vouch for Riley and Sunny's deep intuition and strong sense of empathy; sensitive to the emotions of others in a way only children can, the twins' own emotions are often easily affected by the mood of their environment.
Insatiably curious and easily distracted, they are ceaselessly amazed by the wonders of the world around them. Their love for nature and the outdoors in general often leads to them going off to "get lost" just to see what there is to see and, once found, will be almost bursting to spew out stories - both real and fantasized - of what they'd seen while they was gone. Riley and Sunny are always eager to please and ready to help, whether it be a helping hand or a listening ear or a sympathetic hug. There have been times where they have been an aid to seeing a solution, for with their child-like pleasure in the simplicities of life also comes the profound and unique wisdom found only in a child's simplicity.
Though they possesses many of the angelic qualities of a child, Riley and Sunny do come with the less pleasant ones as well. Their simplicity can be a double-edged sword, being both an aid in times and trouble and also an aid to getting in trouble, for their spontaneity and relative lack of judgment causes them to have the "mouth faster than brain" syndrome. And however much it's endearing at times, brutal honesty often hurts as well. They are terrifically stubborn, sticking obstinately to their views once they've made up her mind. Riley and Sunny often neglect to think of consequences, their spontaneous, enthusiastic responses to things often recklessly rushing them headlong into trouble.
Sunny is known for her volcanic temper, the thinness of the trigger dependent on her mood or what's been said. She has a tendency to hold grudges (especially ones revolving around food) and can get sulky and violent when certain things don't go her way. She is also the more naive and gullible one of the two. Riley, though not nearly as temperamental as his sister, isn't exactly what one would call patient either. He is the more restless of the two, tending to be the one who gets most restless if kept indoors for too long.
Despite their faults, Riley and Sunny strive to be a blessing to those whose lives they touch. With courageous and caring hearts, and a will for independence, once who has found a friend in either of the twins can count on unerring loyalty, a lots of chatter and smiles, and a constant friend who will stake everything to protect those they love.
Likes: Sweets, the beach, strawberries, shiny things, role-playing/adventure games, friendly people, animals; Riley - the freedom of the outdoors, action video games, pranks, his cap; Sunny - the beauty of the outdoors, drawing, embroidery, girl dating sim games, scarves
Dislikes: The dark (phobia), bullies, being stuck indoors, small enclosed spaces (claustrophobia), separation (from each other); Riley - dog whistles, fire; Sunny - being alone (phobia), thunderstorms, loud noises
Other: Both have been diagnosed with ADHD and have a habit of referring to themselves in third person when upset or excited. Riley doesn't steal, but he has great skill in lock-picking. He also has a way with animals. Most of Sunny's wardrobe has been altered in some way by the girl's own hands. She also has a penchant for giving people nicknames (most of them rather . . . interesting ones) whether they like the nickname or not.

Username: Keondre Lorano
Name: Kevin Katsumi Aragaki
Age: Nineteen
Gender:
Birthday: Summer 10
Role: Part-time waiter, part-time librarian, aspiring jeweller and musician
Appearance: Kevin stands at 5'11" and weighs 148lbs.
Biography: Kevin was born shortly after the family's move to Canada. His father's work consumed him not long after, and the boy only enjoyed two years of his mother's presence before she died giving birth to his twin siblings. Because of his father's nearly constant (and in Kevin's opnion, unjustified) absence, he soon grew to dislike the man, blaming him for throwing all the responsibility of being a parent on a couple of kids and a "wannabe mom". And for the longest time he kept his thoughts to himself, reluctantly accepting his life and pretending that everything was okay. His frustrations slowly mounted though, and eventually one day he exploded on his nanny and screamed his protests of the "broken family" he thought he lived in. His nanny, once Kevin had blurted everything he needed to say and had started crying, hugged the child and apologized to him. In that moment, Kevin realized that his nanny might not be his mother, but she still cared greatly for him, and found a new respect for her.
Like his brother Musica, Kevin was a bully magnet, though the kind of bullying that he was put through wasn't nearly as harsh and didn't start up until grade five. As a person who was naturally helpful and peaceful, older students and bolder classmates often used him as a gofer. He was never physically injured, nor was he demeaned in any blatant way, so Kevin turned a blind eye to his circumstances when he noticed that things weren't right around his older brother. Finally catching Musica's bullies in the act, he reported the abuse to his nanny, who dealt with the issue in their father's stead. For a while afterwards the treatment towards him was alleviated; after all, if his brother's bullying had been caught, what was to say that they weren't found out too? But when it became clear that it was Kevin himself who had revealed his brother's bullying, his own forced gofering came back with a vengeance. They began to call on him for the most menial of runs, with the intent of running him ragged. Expecting it, Kevin kept quiet like his brother had done; Musica's well-being, to him, was more important, especially when betrayal tore down the hope that had been in his life.
For Kevin, the move away from Canada was more sweet than bitter. Being of similar status to Musica, and knowing what the other boy had been through, he was more than happy that they wouldn't have to put up with the harsh treatment of the bullies. While it wasn't to say that Beachview didn't have its own share, they were at least more lax about it, the simple initiation process of the new kid that just kind of stuck. It was true that they had to leave their nanny behind, much to Kevin's dismay, but with comforting and encouraging words she sent him and the others on their way. Now fresh out of high school, Kevin has been dabbling into various hobbies and is working to build up money to fund his jewellery-making.
Personality: The middle child of the family, Kevin has often been remarked to be the balancing force of the Aragaki family. While his younger siblings are hyperactive and everywhere at once, and his older brother is a silent shadow lingering in the corner, Kevin is your run-of-the-mill teenage "nice guy". Or dweeb, depending on how nasty you want to be. Generally, he's an overall easy-going kinda guy. He's not superbly shy, but not the kind of person to jump on a newcomer and freak them out with chatter and enthusiasm. He does his best not to let most things stress him out too much (though his music and his metalworking is another matter . . .), but he doesn't let things go right over his head without a second thought. In a very practical sense, he is the middle-man, the average Joe, the type to go with the flow and just be passively friendly to everyone.
Girls who're nicer to him remark that he is a sweet guy, and guy friends say he's a pushover. Kevin does his best to be kind to others, trying to be helpful and dependable where he can. Because of his position as the middle child, a lot of times he tries to keep the peace and play Switzerland in a lot of disputes, so people tend to see him as weak-willed and wishy-washy. Due to his mindset, he tends to do or say some really dumb things in order to crack jokes, and so he has been viewed as a dork as well. His passiveness leads to a tendency to receive the brunt of a lot of bullying. Despite this, he remains optimistic, doing his best to not view the bullying as such, since they don't really harm him physically.
Though he might be a dweeb, Kevin does have lines that he draws. If you're gonna hurt or insult his friends or family, you'd better think twice. He might not be the strongest person around, or know any fighting skills, but he'll still do his darn hardest to make you pay.
Likes: Tea, vanilla, crepes, reading, accessory making, his guitar, children, his family
Dislikes: Feedback on mics, violence, people who harm girls, his dad, anything with more than four legs (spiders especially; he has arachnophobia)
Other: Kevin has some talent in cooking, though not nearly as much passion about it as Musica. Part of the reason he works at the cafe is to make sure that his brother doesn't overwork himself and also to ensure that no bullying or conflict happens within the kitchen, though to his relief it seems that the cafe is more happy with the extra help.

Username: Sezumie
Name: Chiki Mangosteen
Age: 16
Gender:
Birthday: Summer 3rd
Role: Works at the Animal Shelter, and is nicknamed "The Messenger" since she delivers the 'mail' to most parts of the town. She is also a very good repair girl
Appearance: Chiki (And yes, I drew her.)
Biography: She has grown up at Beachview since she was a small child. Even at the age of 7 she was helping out at the animal shelter. Chiki's parents had moved away after she had turned 14, but she chose to stay, since the city life was not something Chiki was interested in. Chiki used to be a bit of a shy girl at first, since she was raised as an only girl with a bunch of older, violent brothers (three to be exact). They taught her how to fix things, so when they left for college, she would be able to help out her parents when they need something fixed around the house. From fixing a table to mending a pipe, Chiki can be very resourceful.
Personality: Chiki's loud, sweet, and yet, can get very annoying. She doesn't go to school, unless she is told to, which is not very often since Chiki helps out with some of the manual labor in the town, and other things. Despite her annoying behavior, she can be very helpful. Chiki can be lazy, easily distracted, and very easily amused by simple things. She also has a sharp hatred for the warmth, which causes her to be crankier than usual. Her tolerance for hot things is not very high, which causes her to occasionally throw tantrums uncontrollably. This also happens in the winter, except she's happier.
Likes: Animals, pastries, and moving.
Dislikes: Staying still, silence, odd numbers, and learning.
Other: She has horrible memory, but has adapted to memorizing the more important things, like the messages that are sometimes dictated to her. Even though she is always moving, usually she's at the animal shelter or the park, playing around with the animals.
