Chase was taken aback at Max's words. He... knows why he joined the military for? Looking all the more embarrassed, he slid his hand down to his neck and smiled a little sheepishly. If that's the case, then perhaps Owens and Odin know what he's up to, too.

Blinking for a moment when he'd mentioned the name 'Mary', he couldn't help but look about and raise his brows when he'd seen the little girl. She is a little girl, right? Letting out a quite laugh, he nodded. "I am," he told her with a smile before he'd blinked again at her calling out a name. Strange, he'd thought, But interesting. Intriguing, even. Smiling at the little girl and the robotic tiger, he crouched down and looked over at Mary.

"Is Mary not human like big brother?" he asked as he'd rested his elbows on his knees and silently watched her with amusement.

Honestly, he wouldn't mind watching Max tinker with Odin's artificial limbs. That, and he was pretty curious as to how those limbs of his work. Max seemed to be really good at mechanical stuffs, too, he'd noticed. It really looked fun to learn it but he held himself back. He wouldn't want to make a bad first impression, after all.
