"Guards! Let him go!" she ordered. "Father...you shouldn't treat a human being like an animal!" she said and stomped her feet. "You will let him go or else I will do something drastic!" she threatened. "I love you father...but mother said that humans are NOT animals and that animals are NOT humans." she explained. "If you want attack dogs, you have the guards to do that for us!" she said. Vera was getting very angry to the point to tears. She didn't like crying in front of anyone but if she had to...she would do it.
