He stood up, and straightened his already pretty much perfect tie. "No. However, I'm your boss. If you don't get all the work done you're assigned, you wont be going home for Christmas, not with a job. If you want to be able to feed your family this month, I would suggest you either get straight to the point of the matter, or stop talking to me and do some work!" He slammed his fist down on the table, making the keyboard jump slightly.
He had seen her pathetic eye fluttering and almost plastic like charm. He had no interest in her, or in anyone else. People cost money. People had already hurt him, but not any more.
He sat back down, straightened his chair and then continued to type. "Things happened over the holidays. I need that report in two days, not three." He didn't show any sign of regret for this in his voice. That was because there wasn't any. She should have been doing it over the holidays, like she was meant to. It wasn't a large amount of work, a presentation for some important foreign businessmen. Businessmen who had not been slacking all week, business men he had to talk to all by himself.
