Marionette looked up upon hearing a voice. The source of the voice was a girl around her age. She smiled before chuckling, coming down to a sit on the table. She was a little tired from having to lug it all around. "I came here alone, so I don't suppose I'd have anyone to help me with them." she said. "And yes, it does weight a lot more than I had expected. You'd think one would get used to such things, having carried tomes around the house plenty of times." she spoke, having to stop herself from rambling. Maybe she had overdone it, but at least she hadn't spilled everything all over the place. Her eyes looked back up at the girl, flashing another brilliant smile as she held out her hand. "Marionette. Pleasure to meet you, Lorelei." Her tone was welcoming and slightly friendly. Even if there was a tinge of fatigue. It had been a dreadful idea to have come alone. She had insisted though, saying she was old and strong enough to do all the shopping.
