Aiko and Iku stared at Nathaniel dumbly. "Mr. Weaver hasn't been in the neighborhood for over a year now; he's a traveling businessman. He comes back next month, on the twenty-second. I was chatting with Mrs. Weaver earlier in the month about it, because Mr. Weaver offered me a part-time job at one of the food chains he owns, but I had to refuse." Iku attempted to hide her giggles. She turned back to Spring. "Yeah, sort of. I just like the learning about reptiles. Obviously," she joked, and Aiko smiled. "I like Dance and Algebra 2, only because Higgins is the teacher. English is alright, but it's not bad either." Aiko nibbled on a piece of pie. They both thanked Spring for the milk when it appeared, and Iku took a long swig at first.
"Mr. Hill, well, he'll try to ruin your life. Embarrass you in front of the class. Mark you down on stupid things that shouldn't be marked down. Regular hateful-teacher things," Iku told Spring, drinking a bit more milk. "Anyhow, maybe he'll be nice to you. Maybe you'll melt his cold, cold heart."
