Maggie listened and nodded. She felt a little bit like she was being berated, but it was just the hard truth being pointed out. She was surprised that Mayling was telling her so much, but the woman caught herself and stopped. Maggie walked over to the room she was given. She frowned. It was plane and cold, it didn't feel like the home she missed and the thought made her shiver. But Maggie knew she couldn't dwell on that so she didn't let herself cry. "I'm sorry, I'll try to do better." She said as she fixed a wrinkle in her dress. She wasn't sure why she was apologizing, but it just felt necessary.

Then there was a knock on the door that made Maggie jump and her heart started racing. She looked over to Mayling to see if she should open it or if Maggie should go check it.
