"Its alright. For his sake i'd not confront you now, I wish only to talk. Besides, you've given me no reason for quarrel. I simply wish to know who I'm in the company of as best I can. Then, when we part ways, I may even be able to help you better cohabitate with your human, who knows, possibly even smooth things between you and the other sibling too."

With this, Lixi leaned back to a more relaxed position, and waited to see if the thing could or would respond.
