It had been almost 200 years since the evil witch had tricked him into stumbling into that cursed spinning wheel and causing him to prick his finger on the needle. The last thing he had seen was the hateful woman laughing at him as he fell to the ground, thrown into a sleep that could not be lifted by anything other than a kiss.
Sleeping Beauty drifted in an endless dream, unaware of the passing of time. Finally it seemed as if he was waking and returning to the realm of the living. Groggily he felt the pressure of something soft on his lips. Having lain in a bed for 200 years it was hard for him to move very well. Slowly he opened his eyes, blinking away the dust and cobwebs that seemed to create a mask over his face. Finally he was able to open them without dust rushing in. His brilliant blue eyes adjusted to the light and he was finally able to focus on his rescuer who was leaning over him.
When he could finally see them, he froze in shock and horror. A man? What the hell was this? With a sudden burst of energy he broke free of the layers of dust and cobwebs, thrusting the man away and with lighting quick reflexes had a sharp blade pressed against the others throat in mere seconds. "Who the hell are you and what do you think you're doing with your lips on mine!" His eyes blazed with fury as he glared down at the beautiful man in front of him.
