A little cafe sits at the edge of the cultural wasteland of suburbia. One day, six kids approaching their late teens walk in. They don't know it yet, but this place will become an integral part of their everyday lives.
Of course, the cafe won't run itself.. There are four kids in their late teens and early twenties who run the place. They might not realize what they've started, but this place is about to become the cultural hub of their preppy little town.
And, of course, other people will always stop in and say hi.
Whether you want to play a big role or just walk in for a quick cup, welcome to Une Petit Coupe de l'Amour. Sometimes, a little cup of love is all you need.

1. Please try your best to keep it appropriate in here. Not only is it offensive to some viewers, but pr0n is a pretty tasteless way to communicate love. When necessary, just let the scene fade to black until morning. I don't think violence and gore will be a problem with this roleplay, but again, stay away from being too graphic. Thanks!
2. Of course, have fun and keep this thread going! Regulars and Staff must post at least once a week, but they should post at least once a day.
3. Though drama is appreciated in the storyline, catfighting and trolling are prohibited in ooc. Flobbing is also against the rules; I've gotten in trouble for it way too many times here. So only in your first post, okay!
4. Out-of-character (ooc) dialog can be posted right here, since ooc threads confuse me. Please distinguish your ooc from your in-character writing!
5. Applications for Regulars and Staff should be sent to me in a PM. Keep pictures to photos, and please use this skeleton:

Mom's always working-- she's a single parent, so she usually has at least two jobs on the go at any one time. I spent most of high school . . . well . . . expressing myself. One of the great things about Mom working all the time is that she didn't even notice when I converted the garage into an art studio. Massive canvases and enough paint to last a lifetime. I'm also very creative musically -- I play guitar, piano, the ukulele and I sing every now and again. "]

ǂ ɓ ɪ ơ ǂ Born in Greece Pavlo moved to America when he was a young boy with his uncle and aunt. Once in America at the age of seven he met Noel a young girl just a year younger than himself.Currently he attends school, but only has a year and a half until he graduated and a full fledged architect. The tattoo across his chest reads, "I'm gonna run this like a lion". A happy and carefree gentleman.

ǂ ɓ ɪ ơ ǂ With a name like mine you tend to either get severely bullied or act completely goofy so people think you’re a joker and not some country-girl freak, in case you haven’t already guessed, I chose to do the latter (although most people only call me Nikki, never know my real name). I’ve always been a practical joker, never taking life too seriously, even my brother Jonah teases me about the way I act so nonchalant (I love that word, don’t you? Makes me sound super smart!). I guess one of the reasons I’m like that is cause I was always left to my own devices, I wouldn’t say my parents didn’t care, just that they were always busy, ever since I was about five and they were promoted in their jobs after we moved from Texas. I soon realised that the more goofy and silly I acted, the more laughs and attention I got, so that’s who I became, the class clown (man this is sounding like I’m psychoanalysing myself now). I’ve scraped my way through school (not so big on smarts, but I’m sporty!) and if you ask anyone they’ll always say I was the one who brought a smile and laugh to the class. It’s a shame though, I’d like to be able to relax some time with others, not feel like I always have to be the happy one with boundless energy or be the one to fill the silence, everyone needs a break from that now and then, and I’m no exception.

ǂ ɓ ɪ ơ ǂ I was born and raised in the suburbs. My dad walked out on it, and my mom was never really around. So, my big sister Skye raised me. Music has always been a big part of my life, although I'm not too sure on my future.

ǂ ɓ ɪ ơ ǂ Always the girl-with-the-weird-organic-lunch at school, Rosie learned early on that people like to judge what they don't understand. After a middle school career of trying to keep her head down, Rosie decided to let her true colors show in her freshman year of high school. Lot of good that did her. She has a few close friends, but it's tough for her to step outside her small group because of her reputation as "the weird girl." Now that she's finally out of school, Rosie is a completely different person; it's easier for her to socialize and be herself around people who don't have a preconceived notion of her. That's why she decided to help start up a place where kids could go to just be themselves.

ǂ ɓ ɪ ơ ǂ Anderson is pretty much a "whatever happens, happens" type of guy, which he gets from his father. His father was all that he had, after all - his mother had died days after his birth. His two older sisters love to tease him and they're usually always following him around and trying to hook him up with girls.

ǂ ɓ ɪ ơ ǂ Noel is a friendly girl, though her appearance would tell you otherwise. She is very thoughtful and honest. The dark haired girl applied at the cafe because she wants to become a pastry chef. She is training currently, but she thought the cafe would be a perfect place for her to express her culinary creativity. Besides the tattoo on her arm she has 3 others: 1, 2, & 3
