Mirani~ I think I understand what you're saying. Two kindgoms at war, the upper fae and the lesser fae. One side wins. In an effort to make peace the winner sends a liason to work as an ambassador and another to be a "gift." I might be a little off but that's the general idea right?

I think I might have an idea.
There is a kingdom. Within this kindom are three territories at war with each other for reasons not yet known. The leaders of the three territories meet in what is intended to be a three way session of hand-to-hand combat to end the dispute once and for all. At said meeting the three beings fall for each other at random points throughout the fight. They decide to lay down their weapons and talk. It's only a beginning but it kind of incorporates all of the above ideas in some small way.
