She had been on a mission to figure out who it was that had sent the people that killed her mother, seeing as that was the only death reported to the authorities, it was clear that the attack was intentional, and just for her family. Her had slid over her backside to feel the pouch that rested on her left hip before re-adjusting the goggles that covered her usually purplish-blue and golden eyes.
Two blades hung off the backs of her shoulders, creating shadows across her scantily clad body. Running her tongue along her teeth, she slowly reached back; brushing her hair out of the way absentmindedly as she slid the blades from their sheaths very slowly as for them to not make a sound. The blue haired girl had dealt with al'Sinne guards before and knew that, at least with the new recruits, once you manage to get one alone they are willing to tell you all that they know. The girl was in a notoriously quiet part of town, the only thing there being an entrance to the underground piping system; the same system that got her to this place.
The girl released a slow breath as she took one step, then another, towards the edge of one of the last buildings on the outskirts of the town. She could hear voices chattering without a care in the world and knew from the weight behind the footfalls that these were guards, and no undoubtedly they had to be recruits given the time and location. A slight breeze picked up, pulling the HERO's hair from her back and cooling the dripping sweat that had gathered there. That was another reason the girl didn't like the day time. Not only was it bright and the sun was out, going against her element, but she could not stand the intense heat, then again she couldn't really stand the intense cold either.
Her hands re gripped the hilt of the blades as she heard the footsteps getting louder. With her eyes closed, she concentrated on her plan for attack. The footsteps hit the ground in a pattern, tap, tap, tap, tap, every few seconds and the rhythm was helping the girl determine how far away they were. Their voices were getting louder and then, all of a sudden them and their footstep were getting quieter. Letting her breath out in a low hiss the girl straightened herself up again, and just as she was opening her eyes a sharp pain connected with her forehead.
The jolt sent the girl falling backwards, the bright sunlight hitting her eyes without remorse, her blades falling as though they were carelessly discarded. A disoriented, an odd sounding, "W-wso sareuk yaau", rang through the girl's ears as she went to sit up quickly. Amaki quickly looked around for her blades, though to her dismay they were behind her. It was the tone of the question that caught the girl's attention as she lunged for one of the two prized items. Her head spun back around to be met with his narrowed gaze and questions of whom she was and what side she was on being demanded.
Though the male would not be able to see it, Amaki's eyes narrowed and the design around her left eye started appearing, slowly spreading out beyond her goggles. Though having them on meant that the male was in no harm, the appearance of the markings meant that he was not safe from attack at this point. It didn't matter that she did not like using her abilities, this guy was not on friendly terms at the moment and therefore would be treated as a threat.
Just as her lips parted for her to speak, the male was in her personal space, his cold fingers clamping themselves over her mouth. At this point, the blue haired girl inhaled deeply as her eyes narrowed further, her hand clenched around the handle of one of her blades. That was when the patterned tap, tap, tap, rang through her ears again. The guards had just changed their patrol a little bit or something and were getting back on route towards them. Luckily, if that was how one wanted to look at it, when the man ran into her, it knocked her back just around the corner of the building and closer to the underground entrance.
After the footfalls and voices began fading once again, the man got off of her, the filth that now covered his garments tracing across her thighs as he moved. He went to see if all was clear before returning to where Amaki still sat. When he returned the girl just watched him, her markings slowly appearing on her shoulder and down her arm. His composure was much different this time around than it had been before, but the way he was looking at her still did not set her at ease.
Rather than answering, the long haired girl turned around slightly to pick up her other blade. Once in hand she rose to her feet, her back to him for a moment as she slid the weapons skillfully back into their resting place. Turning back towards him she adjusted her goggles to ensure their security on her face before running her tongue over her drying lips. "You are certainly demanding for a man who just managed to ruin three weeks worth of preparation and sacrifice."
Amaki's lips remained parted slightly as she glared at the man from behind the dark shades that covered her eyes. This plan, those as simple as it seemed had gotten some people she knew killed. Coming across the patrol routes, times, and crossovers was not easy when you were trying to be undetected, though some of the people that were working with her were a little careless and no longer served a purpose in life. Rather than mimicking his movements, the girl shifted her weight to one side as she crossed her arms under her chest; he was definitely going to have to start talking if he didn't want the bold markings to start playing their role.
