Amara's heart fluttered as she stood face to face with her demon, his mixed eyes boring into hers with a fierce intensity, his claws elongated. His light hair swayed with a slight breeze, his lips pulled into a crooked grin. Her face was set in concentration, her gaze dropped to his stomach in order to be able to know the true intentions of his movements. Her pupils remained normal, controlling the signs of using her powers as she looked upwards towards his mind. A sneer pulled at his face, his head shaking as if he could whip her out of him, flinging her from his mind like a rag doll. Stay out of my mind, woman. That's a command.
You do not command me Jacob. In fact, I do remember being the commander of my Elites, and I led them to victory. I-
Victory? He scoffed at her. You won nothing. The only reason you fled is cowardice. Your Elites would be ashamed of you. They would laugh at your very being. Look at you, hiding day to day in the shadows, putting of your fate. You are no creature of the heavens....You put shame on the heavens by calling yourself such a thing...
Her eyes widened in disbelief, her lips parting in emotional pain. What he said was true. She had no right to think herself a creature of the heavens, for she did not portray their qualities. She was a disgrace. A pain erupted in her stomach, clawing at her insides like a paper through a shredder. The pain seared through her, doulbing her over in agony, her face contorted in pain. Jacob stalked towards her, his hand outstretch. She crumpled from her, rolling on the floor unto her stomach. Screeching in the pain of her movements, she dragged herself to her hands and knees, crawling away from him. Only one breath had passed, before his hand gripped at her braid. It pulled, yanking her through the air effortlessly. SHe did not care. Nothing he could do would compare to the agony of her stomach. She could feel her insides churning, tormenting her with pain so great she wished for Jacob to plunge his dagger right into her heart.
Instead, his lips pressed against her neck, his tongue darting out to taste her skin. It was white hot fire coating the pain, shivers contrasting the heat. Shaking in his grip, his lips moved along her jawline, his hand pulling at her nightgown. The fabric gave way with a tear, the sound echoing in her mind, silenced only by the loud beating of her heart. She feared what would come next. She knew her curse well, and the knew the consequences of being touched. Only, his hand that was now roaming over her chest, a tiger stalking it's prey, stopped at her stomach. His nails elongated, digging into the delicate flesh with ease. The slices were a raindrop in a storm, leaving no effect compared to the torrential downpour of pain. He ripped into, tearing out her organs. Horrow siezed her upon seeing her insides in his hand, but it was twisted, unlike any she had ever seen. It pulsed in his hand, writhing and slithering around. Her breath hitched in her throat and she flailed against him in a panic.
A blinding light pierced through the darkness, emanating from them. The delicious heat from it enveloped her, the cold floor falling from beneath her. The light slithered around her, licking at her skin gently, silk against hard granite. Her vision fogged, her and Jacob's bodies going limp in the air, the light surrounding them holding them and caressing them. Her naked form was caught up in the pure delight of the light, her arms and legs hanging in relaxation, her hair tumbling down through the air. A hum enveloped her mind, calming her further as she fell, the air whipping around her yet leaving no feeling at all. Falling for hours, her nude form was elegantly still in the light, as if it were protecting her, guiding her. Slamming into the mattress of another room, a silent breath escaped her, her eyebrows wrinkling as she was propelled from her dream.
