As is most of the world, or it'd be front page news. However I think comparing the two is like comparing grapefruits to avocados. Would Amy Winehouse's living have saved the kids in Norway? no. Does their death supercede hers somehow? It shouldn't. The figures are probably bigger now with a wider population than was in the 70s, but as Blue Oyster Cult said, 40,000 men & women die every day. How is one death better or more deserving of attention than another? It is sad that Amy Winehouse is dead. She had a messy life, and an all too brief career. Don't make her any less than she already was by saying some other deaths are somehow 'better' than hers.

Or do if you want, it's your perog. But then the Norwegian attack is a political news thing; this is the music forum. So why is it relevant to an Amy Winehouse thread? :shock:
