He had to withhold his hiss of surprise at the loud noise echoing through his cave as the thing that gave off light hit the ground and began rolling away, the light flickering out. It took only mere moments for his eyes to adjust, and he began to trace the wall, knowing the female before him couldn't see him.

He hissed softly, wanting to see her reaction as he slithered passed her, towards the farthest back area of the cave, hoping to eventually goad her into leaving with his threatening hisses. He didn't want to draw attention to him if possible, mentally planning to move away after getting her out of here.

"Leave" his voice was raspy, thick with disuse, and he wondered faintly if he was even speaking in a language she could understand. "We don't want you here."
