Okay, first it would be good to know how much you weigh because at your age sometimes it is not good for your health to lose too much weight. Also, I would like to tell you (even people say this all the time) that the way you look is not always the most important thing. Extreme weight loss should only be considered when the person's health is at risk. Having said that, I do understand the struggles of being overweight at a younger age, having gone through it myself, and I know what you are going through. When losing weight, you don't want to focus on actually losing pounds; the most important thing for you to do right now is get yourself healthy. To do this you must first cut out all sodas and fast food out of your life, this might seem like a hard thing to do at first but once you have done it for about a month you won't want to go back to consuming those things because of how good you feel. You will start seeing results around that time to. Not only do these things cause you to put on the pounds and keep them on, but they are very hurtful to organs such as your heart, kidneys and liver. Candy can also have this effect but not as great because typically people do not consume it in such large quantities. Another thing to remember is that you must exercise in some form every day, get your heart rate up and keep it up for at least fifteen straight minutes. Crunches are good for building abdominal muscle, but they do nothing for when it comes to weight loss. Walking and bike riding are much better but you also need to work yourself up to being able to run a bit of distance. For me, I started with a quarter mile, to a half mile and now I run a full mile every day. The very last thing you need to remember is to not give up, never get discouraged because it is so easy to go back to your old routines. You have to use positive motivation because anything negative will put a downer on the whole thing and you will forget what you are doing this for. This needs to be for you, not for other people. Make your exercises fun and find healthy foods that you enjoy eating, don’t force yourself to eat something you hate just because people say it will help you lose weight. Anyways, I hope this helps some and good luck!
