Rukia Kuchiki-: Lol I've posted as well. XD I figured them just meeting would make it a bit easier to reply to. XD Yeah there's just so many pictures to choose from on photobucket. Too bad they couldn't just have some sort of feature where the picture you're searching for just pops up for you. XD It always takes me forever to find a picture that I like to use. With plots though it seems to depend on the season or time of the year. It seems during the fall and winter I'm full of ideas while in the spring and summer I struggle. >< I'm sure eventually you and I will definitely perfect the multitasking skill. :D Lol yeah I typically have a movie or something random from netflix on just for background noise. There's a time and place for quiet, which for me is rather rare. The bad thing is, is I'll try and select something that I don't think I'll be interested in so I can focus mainly on posting and writing, but then find out that what I selected is somewhat interesting. XD
Lol I felt the same way. I had the idea it was just a matter of getting it into words, which I feel I could have done much better on, but oh well it is what it is. XD And yes, yes we do rule against one liners. It's rather rare that I don't have at least a paragraph or two as a reply, unless I've got an idea that is exploding in my mind which can make my replies be possibly 12 paragraphs long, and if I do have a one liner I at least try to make it something that people can work off of for sure. Although again it's rather rare that happens unless I'm given something that I can't think of a reply to. And no worries with the smilies. I typically have at least one or more in all my OOC posts, pms, and chat replies. XD :D
Psycho Alice: Typically from what I've experienced personally when asking for pairings with request threads it usually first goes to race then gender when multiple options have been given. That's beside the point though and I know everyone's experience is different. XD With races it helps in creating a plot as it gives a basis for creating one. For me personally my ideas for one race pairing differ greatly from a different race pairing. For example ideas I'd have for a Ghost X human pairing usually differ from ideas I have at a Ghost x vampire pairing.
Apricot: Woot! The store manager won't know what hit him if he keeps up his attitude. *Prepares to make 'the call'". XD
Lol maybe, though we'd have to make sure it's a person who wouldn't mess up the idea. XD And no worries, I'm just barely out of the teen years as it is, so they're still technically trying to make it appealing for my age group too. And no worries if they don't appeal to you, it just means they fail at their jobs lol. XD If they're unable to provoke interest in the age group their trying to target then it's their own faults not yours. XD
It would be one of the few I would recommend for a comedy movie since it did succeed in making me laugh through a good portion of it. :D Yeah I find most of Stephen King's movie works were actually rather well written and produced. I know my mother couldn't watch
Pet Cemetery and my roommate can't watch that one and
Kujo. I think it's the way they were portrayed since it left people with a feeling that this could very well happen and could be based on a true story if it wasn't for the fact we know it's a fictional work. Then again most fiction does have some truth behind it I think. :D It's quite possible that the title for the whale movie was drawn out of a hat, along with the storyline. It really did seem more of a rip off of
Free Willy more than anything. The really sad thing is a lot of movie makers have been attempting to recycle old movies and give it more of a modern 'flare'. Unfortunately there are very few successful redoes that are actually well done. And adding slow motion to a lot of movies or even the 3D feature is just...stupid in my opinion unless they can really utilize it fully and appropriately. There's just some things that don't need to be seen in 3D or in slow motion, and then there are times where if done correctly makes the movie great. But overall as you've said slow motion usually just slows everything down to a point that is just purely annoying. I find the same true with the 3D movies. I'm still trying to get over the fact that they're running
The Lion King through theaters again, but this time it's in 3D. Ohhhhh '
sooo different' it makes the movie '
soo much better'. I mean seriously? It's the same movie as it was over ten years ago, there's just some things they make 'pop out', which didn't need to happen. It was a good movie and now they've messed with it. That just ticks me off more than appeals to me. And yes have the socially thought 'pretty' actresses just takes away from the plot of the movie. I mean is it a movie or a beauty pageant? Looks should never be a deciding factor in choosing actors and actresses, but on their passion for the art itself. Someone could have a hairy spider arm growing out of their back, almost morbidly obese, a snake face and declared socially 'ugly', but could have a rather beautiful passion for their art. I would rather hire the person with passion than some 'barbie' or 'Ken' that just look 'pretty' but don't know what they're doing or have no passion for what they do. Acting is an art, and I think that's a fact that a lot of people have forgotten. It's not all about saying lines and doing choreographed actions, they could mess up on that as long as they had a true love of their art and have it shine clearly through.
Yeah and not to mention that today's cartoons just plain don't make sense. Certain things I can forgive so long as they have a reasonable purpose to them. But they just have characters do, say and wear things, if at all, that just don't need to be. I can understand the idea of preparing children, at a certain age, for the real world but not everyone swears like a sailor and walks around practically naked. And I know the amount of people doing the activity of picking up a book and reading has decreased compared to how many people would just sit there and watch television. Not that I don't like sitting down and watching something myself, but there's times I just turn the t.v. on for background noise while I'm reading or writing something online.
Lol it is a rather common phrase nowadays. XD :D And I don't know, but I'm going to find out...Hmmm well it seems there isn't one particular person that invented it, but it was originally used for ski patrols so that medicine could be carried in places that would otherwise be impossible.
Exactly, and trying to tell an uninformed person that they don't need it is a challenge in and of itself too. I never did nor probably ever will understand the smartpone fad. Ok so it can do everything a computer and t.v. can do, but it can't make a phone call. How then is it smart? Is it that by calling it smart, people will then buy it, thinking it's super advance and increasing the profit to those who sell them? If that is the reason then I suppose it could in a sense be called a 'smart' phone in that it utilizes the idea of the word 'smart' to produce large margins of profit. In a way it could be considered almost ingenious as it made the creators of the plot rather wealthy, and thus complete the goal of its creation.
