"Do with him?" Seth looked a bit confused, but then his features smoothed once again. "I don't know. Mother doesn't have the strength to bring him back." Calla's comment about him being Mother's son made him cringe visibly. "I don't want to squander my life away like she did. She just turned thirty, and she looks like my grandmother!" With a sigh, he fell back against the bed. "I . . . don't want to leave him like that, though." His natural instinct was to care, but Seth didn't want to.
He looked up at Calla for a moment, his gaze narrowed. "I don't know if . . . I want to help them." His words were blunt, and a bit cruel, but he was truthful. His blue eyes closed. "It sounds terrible, but it's true. I don't want to inherit this." As though he didn't want to see Calla's reaction, he turned his head in the other direction.
There was silence before Seth finally spoke. His words were close to a whisper when he did. "I'll help him. I want to see if I can do what mother does." He looked back to Calla with his eyes full of conflict. It was like he was fighting himself just to do something for the doll. "He can't stay like that forever."
With a smooth movement Seth was on his feet again. He went to the bathroom counter and returned with the doll's limp form in his hands. It looked so frail, Seth was almost afraid to touch it. Glancing at Calla, he looked a bit lost. "I don't know what to do." Mother had never showed him, and he'd never cared to learn. Placing the creature on the bed, Seth looked down at it for many moments.
((:XD I really don't know how to do it, but hey! I can BS my way through it. I'm also debating making him human or doll. As of yet, a doll recently dead can be brought back as a doll but a doll long dead has been brought back as a human. >_< Hmm. Suggestions?))
