Cecé's eyes flashed open as she felt Tootsie Butterfly, District one's escort, standing above her. "Wake, up, today's a huuuuuuuuuuge day~!!!" The overly-bubbly fake blonde chirped as she threw silver strips of confetti onto the young girl. Tootsie strolled out of her room and headed for the dining cabin. "Get dressed and come to the dining cabin!"

"Ugghhh..." Cecé rolled off the bed slowly and slinked over to the drawer, picking leather pants, pink combat boots and a loose grey top for her attire, along with a bunch of jewelry. She wanted to make an impression on the other tributes, no matter if the impression was good or bad.

The young girl sighed and checked herself in the mirror. Cecé was smart, but her tactic to win the Hunger Games was to act stupid so nobody would bother to go after her. She wasn't entirely sure if it would work, since the other tributes could probably go after her first because they wanted her out of the way. Cecé put on a scarily realistic happy face and skipped down the hallway to the largest cabin of the speeding train.

Cecé sat down at her spot at the table and looked at the food, which was delicious as always. Being from District 1, she had eaten many good foods directly from the Capitol, but this was even better. She scanned the faces sitting at the table. Tootsie was sitting to the right of her, the male tribute; Xerxes Sapphire, was sitting to her left. He had naturally light blue hair, which Cecé found odd. Xerxes was also sturdily built, with muscles seeming to pop out of his muscles. Gem Starlight, their mentor, was sitting across from them. Gem had won the 68th hunger games with his brilliant tactics, and was a male despite the fact that his name was extremely feminine.

The night before, the group had met in this room, discussing the events to come. Gem had talked about what the tributes should expect, and who to team up with. He also went over some good ways to survive given different circumstances. Afterwards, Tootsie had babbled on and on about form and ways to present themselves without coming off as crazy and getting the audience to like them, to send them gifts during the Hunger Games.

Cecé gobbled down her food, knowing that she would need to beefen herself up in order to survive. She had watched the Hunger Games whenever she was little, and through her training, she knew that it was vital to be able to find sources of food and not starve to death, because that would be just miserably stupid.

Cecé stared out the window as the Capitol came to view. They'd be getting off soon, which meant the Hunger Games were getting even closer...
