Raven's gaze never rose as the next question was directed at him by the potential buyer. Of course he knew for some his wings could prove an issue, after all he knew that for most it would be hard to trust a slave to not run initially. I'm rather favorable of all three so I have no intentions of running or flying away" the half demon calmly answered with yet another automatic response.

He thought he heard a noise coming from Scarlett's direction and risked giving a quick glance in her direction without raising his head. Her hair had fallen into her face so he couldn't quite see her expression, but he figured that something had occurred within the last few moments that he hadn't quite caught. He wished he could say something to try and either lift her spirits a bit or at least continue the conversation they had previously been having, however he knew that doing so now with a buyer in front of him would be rather ill advised.
