Though no vehicle had approached, a man with brilliant orange hair slowly stepped towards the beautiful inn, his golden-orange eyes scanning the grounds in an almost suspicious manner from behind the dark lenses that protected them from the desert sun. He walked with an easy grace that would almost seem arrogant, were it not for his relaxed posture. As he stepped up towards the door of the building, he gave one last look around, eyes narrowing as he searched for any hint he was followed. Feeling secure, he opened the door and stepped inside, taking off his sunglasses to let his eyes adjust to the dim interior.
Walking with the same slow gait, he took the time to appreciate the elegant decor of the hall, but scrunched his noise slightly as the floral scent wafted up from the glossy wood floor. When he entered the main room of the inn, he stopped to look suspiciously at the blue light, not recognizing it's origins at first, but once it shifted to it's gentle-looking human form, he relaxed once more.
"You are the greeter then, little one?" he asked as he set down the heavy leather bag he had been carrying. The blue creature smiled and nodded, then proceeded to explain the business's rules and offerings. He scoffed a bit at the price and opted to place a fifty dollar bill in the small box, feeling the decadent inn was surely run by a daft person who felt the need to cheat themselves of money. He then signed his name into the book and accepted the key the ethereal woman handed him, giving her a nod as thanks.
The first thing he did was place his things into his room, finding the best places to hide his more valuable possessions within a few moments. It's not that he expected to have his things gone through, but he was a secretive and suspicious creature by nature. Once everything was in order, he went back downstairs to explore the rest of the building, partially from curiosity and partially to know all the ins and outs, another habit of his.
