He really had no idea how long it would take, if there was even anything here for him to find. Deciding to tell the truth, he gave another smile. "I'm honestly not sure, but I shall try my best to not wear out my welcome."
Watching her for another moment or two, he ran a hand through the mass of curls and waves that was his hair, then began fiddling with the buttons on the cuffs of his shirt as he posed the next question. "I am sure you get this quite a bit, but what do you know of the treasure that is hidden in the caverns? ...Do you know if there is anything like a book, scroll or tablet?" He asked as he began to roll up his sleeves. This caused the peculiar tattoos on his wrists to be revealed, but if the owner of the inn stared at all, he paid no heed, being used to the glances and gossip they stirred.
