I'm atheist so I do not celebrate Easter at all. Nor do I support the over commercialized nonsense society has turned Easter into either. Easter is a religious holiday for those that believe in the death and resurrection of Jesus. Easter bunnies and baskets and bullshit are just a way for a-holes to milk stupid people.

Though I do find it ironic that this and many other Christian/Catholic holidays have become overshadowed by other meaning seeing as these days were stolen from pagan religions and a Jesus sticker was pasted on them.

But either way, no celebrating for me. Perhaps some of the more modern customs of Easter would be nice to partaking in, though as a way to celebrate spring and new life; not "Easter." My children will have no Easter bunnies or Easter baskets but perhaps I will use modern traditions mixed with ones since past to create a time to enjoy spring and its bounty with no god(s) clouding the fun.
