Mindy started when she saw Gilbert transforming. Then his expression changed from friendly to not so... trusting. Grabbing Alice (Destiny) and pulling her behind her, Mindy took a defensive stance. "Who are you? I know you're not Gilbert." She didn't trust him. Inside of her, her normal self was pleading with her to not react so to him. He was still Gilbert. She wouldn't listen though. This new person in front of her had done nothing to earn her trust or respect. Across the street the bar was in flames and pieces of wood were falling down. People in the streets resembled a chaotic part of a movie. Despite that, she was not distracted from this stranger before her.
