I suppose I will go in chronological order:
My first big pet was a little black mutt my family picked up from the pound (we called him Spankey, because he was a little Rascal).
He passed when I was about 8, and my family has not gotten any pets since.
Me, on the other hand....(animal sciences major & all)
I went on to have many different aquarium setups. All kinds of fish, freshwater crabs, shrimps, frogs...I even had a breeding pair of Beta fish once!
After the aquarium phase, I got hermit crabs when I moved to college.
I had a total of three: Jaqueline, Joe, and Hermia.
Then on a trip to Texas, I found this thing:

We started calling her Webster, and the name stuck
After Web turned a year old, she started having seizures. We still don't know why (sooo many tests were run. Everything short of a CAT scan), but she is on anti-seizure medication and has been seizure free for over a year now C:
Then I moved into a new house and this thing was there:

You see, I moved into a house with Veterinary students, and one of them was fostering this thing for the clinic they worked at.
She was brought in by a concerned citizen who confiscated her from their neighbors. They had lit her on fire. Her tail was amputated, and she has a permanent bald spot...but she lives as though she's the happiest kitty ever. Her name's Atari (since she has a joystick on her butt).
I'm actually quite happy that I have these two knuckleheads. They seem happy with each other too:

Besides those two, I have also fostered for my local Humane Society. The most notable was this adorable little family:

I found homes for all of the babies, and the mother.
In the future,I have so many crazy ideas. I want a ferret, I want to keep goats, I want chickens, I want dogs and possibly more cats, I want to keep bees.......
Basically: I'm a little weird. But critters are fun, and they keep life interesting.
