The gently lapping of water against her bare skin was soothing and very much welcoming as the petite raven-haired girl perched herself on the side of a fountain. There were loud booming voices coming from every direction behind her and almost nothing they were saying seemed coherent in the least. Of course she knew why they were to together, which was to discuss the new territories for this cycle. They had to assert their rights since certain Gods or Goddesses’ can fall from the grace of Humans easily within a year’s time. So, this was ‘necessary’ for them to establish who was the most important. She on the other hand was the daughter of Galene Goddess of Calm Seas and had been made the Goddess of Shore Lines. Her power neither raised nor fell like the others did.

“Where will my lands be this cycle?” She chimed into their argument as she kicked the water splashing it on to the ground around the base of the fountain. Their voices faded to a murmur as she felt their eyes lock on her small figure. “We will get to the lesser territories after the larger ones are determined like it has always been, Erwyna.” Her Grandfathers, Nereus, voice boomed in a rather unpleasant tone. Her lips formed a frown as she stood up abruptly spinning on her heels to face them all.

The light winds from the North blew the long fringes of her hair as she stood her ground before them all. “I shall take the lands that I have been given for the past century.” She stated bluntly as she stepped out of the fountain and on to the soft grass. “Since that has been decided I shall take my leave,” She gave them all a stern look before she took off in a sprint and launched herself off the side of the cloud-like-area. She dove into the lake far below causing a large wave to form around her and race towards the shores.
