"Keep it," Hroarr waved off Mikaila's offer of the steak and settled back in his seat, making the chair creak with the strain of his bulk. "You look as if you need it more than I, and my own meal should be here soon."
Even as he spoke, the barmaid returned with a large bowl of stew and another mug of ale. The stew was wonderful, and the Northman savored his first spoonful before turning attention back to the elven girl. He offered her his large, rough hand. "It is good to meet you, Mikaila friend of Raffi. I am Hroarr Runisson."
