Gah, I totally agree! I wish they would remake Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy VII!!! But that's "too much work"!

The games nowadays don't really seem to have as good story, or characters as the old games did! Maybe it's just cause I was a kid then and those games were top of the line, but I hold to that. My nephews hate the older games cause "the graphics suck" Look here kiddos it ain't about these here newfangled graphics, it's story it's characters and replayability! Chrono Trigger came out, how many years ago now? But it's still amazing, and I still play it from time to time! I agree with you that it seems like it's all about the money!

Some companies do still try, and they do take input from fans, but not enough of them do this! It does show quite a bit, but sometimes it can be overlooked. Square Enix/ Soft, has always been one of my favorite video game companies, and is sad that instead of allow a remake, or do a remake of a game that would sell like hot cakes, they push out 50 new titles that no one wants to play because they're all seemingly generic crap. I could be wrong, I've never played through the new FF games, but from I did play, I didn't really care for, and have friends who did play them, and didn't like them at all.

Le sigh, maybe we could get a petition going for them to remake good games instead of pushing out what they're doing now? lol
