Lia for once was actually where she was suppose to be, in a manner of speaking, not that you would know it. She was in the front room where the check in desk was... but laying on the couch with her nose buried in a book. She played absently with the chain around her neck, a rather pretty necklace her strange new bodyguard gisa had given her.

Reading had it's difficulties, sitting still and all, but this one had a new legend she hadn't found! So she lay on the couch, sprawled out on her belly with the book in her hands and a blanket covering most of her. She was always cold though she wasn't really sure why. She didn't think about the fact it obscured her view, but that was Lia's nature really. She didn't always think things through the best.


Gisa was in a nearby library doing a little learning of her own, or trying to anyway. She hadn't really come here to guard the teenager or her old man, no she had her own reasons. Still, the opportunity to get paid while doing what she wished had presented itself so Gisa had gladly taken it. She was looking for someone and the trail had gone cold here. It was just too hard to pick up the shadow figure whose face she still hadn't seen among all the magic residue here, so instead she looked for why he had come here.

To that end she was currently looking at one of the many relics the old man upstairs, who she had only seen when he had hired her, had gathered from the ruins. There was script even older then the masterful demon herself imprinted along them. Yes, she was sure the ancient people here had to be why the enchanter had come and perhaps learning what he had learned would tell her where he had gone next. Even if she hadn't the foggiest notion about the people or their script, causing her to sigh in annoyance.
