In her small cabin, Olive hummed softly, hearing only echoes through the woods of small insects, animals, and obnoxious campers. She ran her brush through her hair, thoughtfully staring into the mirror. Why was it she loved being awake when she was supposed to sleep? Was it the thought of rebellion that made her feel somewhat cool? Or was it she just enjoyed the peaceful air that settled when everything was asleep? Either way, the blue-eyed female slipped her moccasins on and a coat, not bothering to change from shorts to pants; the night was warm. She stepped outside and smiled, staring at the stars in the sky. "Oh, Orion's Belt!" she gasped, blue eyes sparkling. As she walked, she listened to her own footsteps, the way she kicked up leaves, or snapped twigs. She jumped and screamed loudly when a deer scurried off upon not noticing Olive's presence. The girl leaned against a tree, chest heaving as she caught her breath and calmed herself.

Alistair roamed the dark streets, face illuminated by street lights. He watched the people in their homes, some sleeping with curtains open, some awake with laptop lights shining on their faces. Reaching the end of the street, the blonde opened his multi-layered white wings, kicking off and heading into the cloudless night. He closed his eyes as he steadied himself, the cool night air sending chills down his spine. He flew over the forest, glancing down at the various females, before speeding up, hoping he wasn't caught.
That'd be great.
He'd be in deep trouble if he was caught another time.
It was difficult, not getting caught. How were they even supposed to not get caught, with these huge wings on their back? Alistair would never know. But what he did know, was that he'd rather not get caught right now.
But, wait...Were those?
Alistair turned around and caught a second glimpse, and it was her, standing outside the window of a local hospital. "Hikari?" he smiled, landing softly behind the woman, bowing with his wings still out. He hadn't seen the woman in ages, and he was thrilled to run into her.
