My dad also got into a philosophical argument with them once too. They tried telling him that because he doesn't believe in Heaven he was going to Hell. He asked why he would believe in the negative aspects if he didn't believe in the positives? And then he went on a rant about how if they saw celebrations as a sinful activity then they were going to hell because he was taught in his catholic school that everyday is a celebration of God's work.
