There are some, like myself that would go into the position of power with the best of intentions and would get side tracked and waylaid over time. Which is why, I personally won't go into politics, but I believe that people that do go into politics should be held to a higher standard as they are representing the masses.
But of course, they use and abuse the power of the position.
